Oh No! Roaming!

But why am I roaming?  I should be in an area that has coverage!

Well, maybe the phone is not getting signal from the tower?  I really don't know.  But one thing you could try to do, it's to update your phones "Preferred Roaming List", aka PRL.  You can find the details here for the technical story. 

What it does is it helps the phone to find cell towers to connect to.  Once you've done the update, it could help the coverage.

So, how do you update the Preferred Roaming List on your HTC EVO 3D, here are the steps:

1.  Touch the "menu" key (2nd one with the 4 horizontal bars), then touch "Settings"

2.  Touch "Systems Updates"

3.  Touch "Update PRL"



4.  Your HTC EVO 3D will be checking for PRL updates.

5.  Done!  Tab OK and you are good to go!  Hopefully not being roaming anymore!
